Fresh Love

I love Etsy for all the great items that you can find and also for its treasuries (curated collections of awesomeness) :) This one features my recycled glass bottle votive holders and seemed appropriate for the grey day we are having here in the lower mainland. You can view it here as well.

Tuesday

Beginnings


I have been spending a bit of much needed research and inspiration time on the interweb of late and noticed that most of my favourite bloggers have posted some really lovely and introspective posts about the new year.  It's always such an exciting/scary time for me. Exciting because of all the wonderful possibilities that the year may hold and scary because of all the uncertainty. That is part of what makes life exciting though isn't it? I have done what I think most people do at the start of a new year and made all kinds of goals for myself. I think that is really important but on the other hand it is also essential to reflect on all the things one has achieved over the past year too. Marian + Hazel  has grown and evolved as a brand so much over the past year and certainly will continue to do so over 2013. I plan to take more risks, be more daring and innovative with my designs and most of all have a lot of fun :) Heres to an amazing year ahead!

Got Craft?!

Got Craft? is this weekend! Wow, time flew by fast! Before you know it the holidays will be here too! Make sure to come and check out all the amazing handmade gifts made by a group of super talented artists and craftspeople. Guaranteed you will find something for everyone on your list (even yourself :))

I have been quite busy making exciting new Marian + Hazel stock for the show including jewellery, framed original art and home accessories. Most of which would be perfect for the holiday season or all year round! An added bonus to this show are the amazing swag bags that are handed out to the first 50 people through the door! Got Craft? will be taking place at the Croatian Cultural Centre this year, Saturday 10-5 and Sunday 10-5. Don't miss it!
