Holiday Shows!

This time of year is always so exciting! I am especially excited because we aren't travelling as much for shows this season and are focusing on building the brand right here in Calgary! This city feels more and more like home everyday and I am so grateful for the awesome opportunities here. So far the Holiday shows are Market Collective December 4-6th at the Chinese Cultural Centre and the ArtSpots Under $100 Art Show happening December 10th-13th. West Elm Calgary Pop Up Shop!

I am beyond excited the Calgary has its very own West Elm as of a few weeks ago! I am also so excited to announce I will be the pop-up shop artist this coming weekend! Come check out this lovely store and while you're at it you can check out my hand made jewellery, home accessories and artwork! The new store is located at Mt. Royal Village 868 16th Ave SW.

Market Collective's 7th Birthday Celebration

Since moving to Calgary in August of 2013 (whoa I have almost been here two years!) I have been constantly amazed at the vibrant arts and culture scene. Calgary truly is a city constantly evolving and improving and it is so cool to be a tiny part of that. Market Collective is an awesome art and design show that features local artists and really tries to promote them. I am so pumped to be able to help them celebrate 7 years and to be involved in their amazing collective. The show is happening in the East Village which is an area of Calgary that is also going through some amazing transformations. It is sure to be so much fun and a great place to check out local art, craft, design, food and music!

Spring Shows!!!!

It feels so much like Spring here in Calgary which is exciting because that means Spring shows are happening soon too! First up is Market Collective happening this coming weekend! May 1-3 at the Chinese Cultural Centre (197 1st St. SW) here in YYC! After that we will be at New Craft Coalition for the first time! May 22-23 at Festival Hall in Inglewood (1215 10th Ave. SE). Circle Craft is Next Week!!!

I can't believe the first Holiday show of the season is almost here! Circle Craft is happening next week Nov. 11-16th. at the Vancouver Convention Centre. After that we will be at the Calgary Art Market which takes place at the Telus Convention Centre Downtown Calgary from Nov. 20-23rd. Lastly, Dec. 5-7th we will be at Market Collective here in Calgary at the Chinese Cultural Centre! Woot!

British Columbia Shows!!!

Amanda Parker Design will be headed to BC this week to participate in some super exciting shows! First up is Circle Craft Summer Market at Jack Poole Plaza in Vancouver, happening July 24th-27th! This is the second year for this show and is sure to be amazing.

After Circle Craft we will head to Comox,Vancouver Island for the Filberg Festival, happening August 1st-4th. This will be my first time participating in this show that is set in such a beautiful setting. I am excited to take part and check out all the other talented artists as well as the music! PARKSALE is happening THIS weekend! Come down to Haultain Park 225-13th Ave. SW this Saturday June 21 and Sunday June 22 to check out the handmade wares of over 75 amazing vendors!
